Rhythm of Life

"The Rhythm of Life", lead by Rev. Nancy York, will be our worship and meditation Sunday June 1st. Worship will be followed by a potluck dinner. Our offering will be for Project Dignidad both monetary and in-kind. So please bring all kinds of non-perishable foods.

Gathering for Worship

The Rev. Ellen King will lead The Gathering, this Sunday May 18th, in worship. A potluck will follow. Our offering will be for The Open and Affirming Coalition of The United Church of Christ (ONA of the UCC). (formerly the UCC Coalition for LGBT Concerns.)

Spirit: Experiencing Connection

This week at The Gathering a discussion will be led by Neil Snipes. This is the third session regarding the "Spirit" that Neil has led and he explains:

"In the previous meeting we explored the foundation of spirituality--spirit. A new direction was proposed that moved the group away from the recorded material of others in the video series to conversation as a group relying on reflection and intuition. The goal was to find connection between members that moved us beyond thinking and analyzing to experiencing spiritual connection in the moment."

"The feedback from the group was a want to continue this work of developing a deeper connection to spirit via relationship. On the May 11th we will continue this powerful work as individuals and as The Gathering in connecting to self, the group and that which connects all of us--Spirit, higher power--the Devine. Come ground and center with us as we grow together.

Gathering for Easter

For you are with us Oh God, when we take our first breath and you are with us when we take our last breath and you are with us in all our moments in between.--Blessed be and Amen.

Rev. Ellen King will lead us in worship and the celebration of Easter. Following worship we will continue our evening with a Potluck. Our offering will go to "One Great Hour of Sharing".

More Beyond Theology

At The Gathering this week will be Neil Snipes leading us in a Beyond Theology film. A discussion will follow.  Our offering this week will be for the Children's Advocacy Center.

Untying the Knots

 

This Sunday, April 6th at 5:30 p.m. at The Gathering, the Rev. Ellen King will lead us in Worship.  Her homily is entitled "Untying the Knots."  Worship will be followed by our potluck dinner.  If you are pressed for time and can't bring a dish, come anyway--there is always plenty of food.  Our offering this Sunday will be for Project Dignidad.
